Events & Seminars

For the past several years, I toured the country presenting lively, mind-changing seminars on child and adolescent mental health and accompanying issues. Recently, I cut back on my tour schedule in order to have more time to write, and to develop new programs and presentations. I will continue to offer seminars through PESI (PESI.COM) for mental health professionals and educational personnel. Please contact me if you if you need further information.  
  
Various on-site programs and services are available. The following serve as examples:  
  
Keynote address. This venue is usually a one day event. It can consist of, for example, a singular speaking engagement to a state or national convention. Presentations are available for groups such as educators social workers, psychologists, service clubs, advocacy groups, etc. Depending on the nature of the venue, additional time can be arranged for follow-up discussions with those in attendance. Or, a morning keynote address can be followed by an afternoon workshop.  
  
Half and full day programs. These training/informational programs are designed to provide participants beneficial knowledge about specific conditions and issues. A single full day program can be presented or two half day programs can be combined for a full day of programming. Usually, such arrangements, depending on location, consist of two days or more of on-site presentations. Formal PowerPoint presentations are combined with more informal talks with parents and students or follow-up discussions and case consultations with, for instance, guidance counselors.  
  
Presentations for PESI will continue to be part of the offerings. PESI has its own on-site division that arranges for specific programs at specific sites. Upcoming programs will be noted as such.
